At 450mm it does not jut into a narrow room the way a deeper chest does, and white gives a small bedroom back a bit of light that a dark piece takes away. It suits a box room, a converted return, a room where the walking space between the bed and the wall is measured rather than guessed. Be honest with yourself about that walking space, though: the drawer box is 430mm deep and comes that far out, so the chest occupies close to 900mm of floor the moment a drawer is open.
