The Argyle is for the room that changes shape when friends come in: the bigger table stays by the sofa, the smaller one goes to whoever has no table.

The Argyle is a nest of two round coffee tables in an iron frame with a bronze finish and a bevelled mirror top on each. The larger is 75cm across and 55cm high; the smaller, 55cm across and 45cm high, slides underneath when the room is quiet. Nothing to assemble, and 18.8kg for the pair.

Is 55cm too high for a coffee table?

It's taller than most, which is the point when you're pouring from it or reaching for a glass from the sofa. Measure your sofa seat height; if the cushion sits around 45cm, the top will land a little above it.

Will the mirror tops scratch?

Mirror glass marks like any glass.
