For the first few weeks the joints are taking your weight for the first time, the slats are settling into their housings, and a bolt that was tight on the day of assembly can work a quarter-turn loose. That is normal, and it is behind nearly every creak reported in the first month. Go round the bolts with the key that came in the box after three or four weeks of use, and again when the heating goes on and moves the timber slightly.
