The legs are 182cm apart, so nobody in the middle of a long side is sitting astride a leg, and the 160cm Iowa bench slides in between them. There’s 66cm from floor to the underside of the top; check any chair with arms against that figure. For the room, add about 90cm behind each chair to pull it out: that’s a space roughly 2.8m wide for a table 1m wide.

What it’s made of

Mango wood and mango wood veneer, in a Natural finish

Seats six

Legs fit on at home; the rest arrives made

One box, 73kg packed, so it’s a two-person carry

Where it works, and where it doesn’t

It suits a long kitchen-diner or a dining room of about 3.2m or more in length, so there’s a walkway at each end.
