Under the bed is where this frame earns its place: 275mm of usable height, so full-depth boxes and a suitcase go underneath without a squeeze. There is no timber frame to move with the heating, but metal-to-metal joints settle, and a bolt that has taken a few weeks of getting in and out of bed will often want a turn to stay silent.
