The drawers run 360mm front to back, so allow around half a metre of clear floor in front: enough for the drawer, and enough for two people to be at their own side of the chest at once. The oak colour deepens a little over the first year, so try not to leave one end of a 1310mm chest in full sun and the other in shade.
