It goes on a landing, behind a door, along the wall of a box room — places a chest of drawers will not fit. The two drawers are 160mm deep inside and 498mm wide, which is real storage: folded scarves, hair tools, a make-up bag standing upright rather than lying flat. But there are only two of them, so treat it as a work surface with some storage under it, not as a replacement for a chest. The top sits at 800mm, which is tall — taller than a desk.
