Privacy Policy
Mulberry House Ltd ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard the information you share with us when you visit or make a purchase from mulberryhouse.ie. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
Information we collect. When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number and order details. We also collect payment information, which is processed securely by our payment providers — we do not store full card details on our servers. When you browse the site, we automatically collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information. We use your data to process and fulfil your orders, arrange delivery, handle returns and refunds, respond to your enquiries, and send order confirmations and service updates. Where you have consented, we use your email address to send marketing communications, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. We also use aggregated data to improve our website, products and service.
Legal basis. We process your data to perform our contract with you (fulfilling orders), to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting records), on the basis of your consent (marketing and non-essential cookies), and for our legitimate interests (improving and securing our service).
Sharing your information. We share data only as necessary with payment processors, delivery and logistics partners, and technology providers including Shopify, which hosts our store. These parties process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention. We keep your data for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described here, including legal, accounting and reporting requirements. Order records are generally retained for six years to meet Irish tax obligations.
Your rights. Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Cookies. Our site uses cookies that are essential to its operation and, with your consent, cookies for analytics and marketing. You can manage your preferences through your browser settings or our cookie banner.
Contact. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email privacy@mulberryhouse.ie or write to Mulberry House Ltd, 1 Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co Cork, P31 PR44, Ireland.
Terms of Service
By accessing or using mulberryhouse.ie and by placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update them at any time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
Our products. We make every effort to display our products, colours and finishes accurately, but cannot guarantee that your screen reflects them exactly. Product descriptions, dimensions and weights are provided as a guide. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to discontinue any product.
Orders and pricing. All prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch your goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where a product has been mispriced or is unavailable, in which case we will notify you and refund any payment taken.
Payment. Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment providers. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Intellectual property. All content on this site, including text, images, logos and design, is the property of Mulberry House Ltd or its licensors and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

Refund & Returns Policy
We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you are not, the following applies in addition to your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law.
Right to cancel (online orders). If you bought online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. To cancel, notify us by email at info@mulberryhouse.ie. After cancelling, you have a further 14 days to return the goods. We will refund the full price and standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of proof that they have been sent.
Condition of returns. Items must be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or was sent in error. We recommend using a tracked service, as you are responsible for goods until they reach us. We may reduce your refund to reflect any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.
Faulty or damaged items. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, goods must be of merchantable quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us within a reasonable time at info@mulberryhouse.ie with your order number and photographs. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Non-returnable items. Custom-made, made-to-order or personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty, as they are produced specifically for you.
Refunds. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for your bank to process the credit once we have issued it.
How to start a return. Email info@mulberryhouse.ie with your order number, and we will guide you through the process.
Shipping & Delivery Policy
We deliver designer home furnishings across the Republic of Ireland.
Delivery area and charges. We ship throughout Ireland. Delivery charges and any free-delivery thresholds are shown at checkout before you pay. Larger furniture items may include room-of-choice delivery, which is noted on the relevant product page.
Processing and timing. Most in-stock items are dispatched within a few business days. Larger furniture and made-to-order items have longer lead times, which are indicated on the product page or confirmed by email after your order. We will keep you informed of expected delivery dates and contact you to arrange delivery of bulky items.
Receiving your order. Please check your goods on arrival and report any damage or shortage to us promptly at info@mulberryhouse.ie. Someone aged 18 or over should be available to receive and inspect furniture deliveries.
Delays. While we work hard to meet estimated delivery times, these are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control, including courier delays and stock availability. We will let you know as soon as possible if there is a significant delay.
Collection. Selected items may be available to view and collect from our showroom at 1 Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co Cork. Please contact us to arrange.
