New Build Interiors, Cork
You've got the keys. Now the rooms. Paul plans a new house from empty to lived-in: the layout of each room, the lighting, the furniture, and the order to do it all in.
- Free 30-minute introduction, in person, by video or by phone
- One room or the whole house
- No obligation to buy a thing
An empty house and a long list
In a new build the questions tend to be the same. Where do we start? What do we buy first, and what can wait? Will the sofa fit that wall? And how do we make it feel like ours, not the show house?
That is the job Paul does. He looks at how you'll actually live in the house, plans each room to scale before anything is bought, and gives you the order to do it in, so the money goes on the rooms you use first.
What Paul plans
- Layouts to scale. Every room drawn before you buy, so the sofa fits the wall and the table fits the room.
- Lighting. What goes where, so the rooms work after dark as well as by day.
- Colour and finishes that run from room to room, so the house reads as one home.
- A priced, shoppable list, room by room. Buy in the order that suits your budget, or hand it back to Paul to order.
- Furniture from our showroom, and made-to-measure pieces from Paul's own network of craftsmen.
How it works
- The free introductionThirty minutes with Paul, in the showroom, by video or by phone. Bring the floor plan and your move-in date if you have them.
- The visitPaul walks the house with you and measures up. If you haven't got the keys yet, he can start from the floor plan.
- The planLayouts, lighting, colour and a priced list, room by room, with one round of changes.
- The order of workWhich rooms first, what can wait, and what to order now. Made-to-order furniture takes around four weeks, so it's timed for the day you move in.
- Delivery and set-upPaul can order everything, arrange delivery and style the rooms, or you can work through the list yourself at your own pace.
In their words
“Our sitting room was the room nobody used. Paul rearranged what we already owned, added two pieces, and now it's where everyone ends up.”
“We covered in three hours what would have taken me three months of second-guessing.”
