Amalfi Side Table White

White marble by the sofa, and the glass has somewhere to go.

What you're getting

• A round side table in solid white marble, top and base
• 40cm across and 50cm high
• Base clearance of 48.5cm to the floor
• 31kg, so it's a two-person lift
• One box
• The same shape in Black, Ember and Natural

The Amalfi in White is the lightest-looking of the four, and the one that disappears most happily into a pale room. It's 40cm across and 50cm high, solid marble throughout, with a curved shoulder on the base. On an evening with people over it's the table that takes the second round of glasses when the coffee table is full.

Is white marble hard to keep clean?

It needs the same care as any marble: coasters under glasses, spills wiped as they happen. Red wine left overnight is the one to avoid.

What size is the top?

40cm across. Room for a lamp and a glass, or a small tray of drinks when people come over.

How high is it against a sofa arm?

50cm, which is usually a little above the arm. For a lamp that's ideal; if you want the top flush with the arm, a lower table suits better.

Is the base hollow?

No. The base is solid stone like the top, which is why the table weighs 31kg and stays exactly where it's put.
