Low, oval, glass over concrete, and it sits where the sofa ends.

The Anzio Small is an oval side table, 44.5cm wide, 65.5cm deep and 38cm high. The flared base is glass-fibre reinforced concrete in a charcoal-brown glaze; the top is toughened glass with a brown tint. It's the lower of the two Anzio sizes, and when people come over it works as the table that stretches a little further along the sofa, taking two or three glasses without anyone reaching.

Measure first. 65.5cm is the long side, so check the gap between the sofa arm and whatever is beside it: a lamp, a radiator, a wall. Then the height: at 38cm the top will be below most sofa arms, not level with them. If you'd like it level, measure your arm height before you decide between this and the Large.

Dimension mm cm
Width 445 44.5
Depth 655 65.5
Height 380 38
Clearance to floor 380 38

What is the base made of?

Glass-fibre reinforced concrete with a charcoal-brown glaze. The top is toughened glass with a light brown tint.

How much does it weigh?

45kg across two boxes. The base is the heavy part. You fit the glass top yourself; that's the only assembly.

Is 38cm too low for a sofa?

It sits below most sofa arms, which some people prefer: the glass is set down rather than reached across. It's not a lamp table at this height.

Is there a bigger one?

Yes, the Anzio Large is 5cm taller at 43cm and 1cm wider. Same base, same glass, same colour.

Will the glass scratch?

It's toughened glass with a tint, and it takes everyday use well. A felt pad under anything heavy and rough-bottomed is sensible.

What goes with it. The Anzio Side Table Large, the taller version, and the other reinforced-concrete pieces in this group: the Caluso, Novara and Rozzano.
