One more seat, and the one everyone makes for first.

The Atella is a tub chair in antique tan leather, 81cm wide, 78cm deep and 74cm high, on an oak and plywood frame with foam and polyfibre in the seat. Vertical stitching runs up the back. When the sofa is taken and someone is still standing with a glass, this is the seat they are offered, and it is low-backed enough that it does not block the room.

Is the whole chair leather?

The upholstery is leather over a frame of oak and plywood, with foam and polyfibre underneath. The stitching is vertical, in panels, which is the detail you notice first.

Will tan go with a dark sofa?

Only you can tell, but tan leather tends to sit happily beside charcoal, navy or moss fabrics, and it warms up a grey room. Beside another brown leather it can look like a near miss, so bring a cushion from the sofa if you are unsure.

How high is the seat?

The seat is 44cm from the floor, with 46cm between the arms and a 50cm seat depth. That is a little lower than most dining chairs, so it reads as a lounge seat rather than one for the table.

Does it need assembly?

No. It arrives in one box, around 20kg, ready to put in place.

Is there a fabric version?

Yes. The same chair comes in Moss Green fabric and in the Tula Monochrome pattern.

What goes with it

The Atella comes in two fabrics as well as this leather: Moss Green and Tula Monochrome. Two in different finishes either side of a lamp table is a classic way to fill the end of a living room.
