A glass top is the kindest thing you can do for a narrow hall: the eye goes through it to the wall, so the table takes up less room than it measures. Put the lamp at the end nearest the door and keep the middle clear for whatever people hand you as they come in.

The Blair is a 90cm console with a smoked tempered glass top on a solid oak base finished in black, 38cm deep and 75cm high. It's from a collection of tables made in the same black oak and smoked glass, and in natural oak with clear glass. It packs flat, so it goes up the stairs and through any door, and at 11.15kg it's an easy carry.

Is the glass tempered?

Yes. The top is smoked tempered glass, which is the safer kind for a hall where things get set down.

How much assembly?

Full assembly, with all the tools supplied in the box. It's a flat-pack design; allow an hour and a clear floor.

Will black oak and smoked glass work with an oak floor?

Well, as it happens. The smoked tint sits between the black base and a natural floor and ties them together.

Is 90cm too small?

For a narrow hall or a landing it's about right. If you've a longer wall, there are 110cm and 140cm consoles in the range.

Roughly four weeks from order. It can be delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We'll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
