Blair Round Side Table Oak

Natural oak and clear glass, 45cm across, and a table you can hand to anyone.

This is the Blair in black with the finish taken off. Natural solid oak base, clear tempered glass top, the same 45cm round and the same 50cm height, which is sofa-arm level. The black version recedes into a dark room; the oak version warms a pale one and shows the floor through the glass. Both are flat-packed in one box with the tools supplied, both weigh between five and six kilos, and both are the table you hand to the person who ended up on the floor cushion.

Natural oak or black: which is more forgiving?

Natural oak with clear glass hides fingerprints better; smoked glass shows them less than clear in strong light. Neither is fussy, and a glass cloth sorts both.

Is the base solid oak?

Yes. The base is solid oak with a natural finish; the top is tempered glass.

Will it go with my oak dining table?

Natural oak varies by cut and finish, so it will be close rather than identical. If the room already has oak, a close match reads as intended.

Is it hard to put together?

No. The tools are in the box, and one person can do it on the floor.

What goes with it

The Blair Round Side Table Black is the sibling. In the same light-oak family, the Wycombe Side Table Oak gives you a taller 60cm lamp table with a spindle shelf.
