A long acacia table the whole sofa can reach a glass from.

The Borden is a long, narrow coffee table in acacia with metal plate, 150cm by 50cm and 35cm high. The top and legs are wide enough to show the grain properly, and the length means a three-seater sofa gets a surface in front of every cushion, not just the middle one. When people come over, the bottles go at one end, the board at the other, and nobody has to pass anything down the line.

Measure first

At 150cm, the Borden wants a sofa of around 180cm or more so it doesn't look longer than the seat behind it. Leave roughly 45cm between the table edge and the sofa so knees and feet have room. And check the height: at 35cm it sits a little below most seat cushions, which is comfortable for reaching down to a glass but low if you like to eat off it.

Dimension mm cm
Width 1500 150
Depth 500 50
Height 350 35
Leg height 325 32.5
Clearance to floor 325 32.5

Is it solid acacia?

The data lists acacia and metal plate. The acacia is what you see; the metal plate is part of the build.

How much assembly?

The legs only. It arrives in one box at 32.3kg packed, so it's a two-person carry.

Is 50cm deep enough for a board and glasses?

Yes for a board and four or five glasses down its length; the narrow depth keeps the walkway clear.

Will the grain match a dining table?

Acacia varies board to board, so no two tables are identical. Close rather than exact, if your dining table is acacia too.

What goes with it

The Borden is sold on its own. It sits well beside low side tables in natural wood or black metal at each end of the sofa.
