Brookland Slatted Coffee Table

Slatted acacia underneath, and a round top for the board and the bottles.

The Brookland is an 80cm round coffee table, 40cm high, in solid acacia with a natural finish that lets the grain show. Its base is made of gently sloping wood slats, on an iron and MDF structure. When people come over, the round top takes a board and a few glasses without crowding.

Measure first

Eighty centimetres across suits a sofa of about two metres; leave roughly 45cm between the table edge and the sofa so knees and feet have room. It weighs about 31kg across two boxes, and only the legs go on at home, so measure the doorway into the room with the table in mind.

Will the colour change?

Natural acacia can darken or take on a warmer, reddish tone over time. That's the wood itself responding to light and air, and most people like where it ends up.

Is it solid wood?

The table is crafted from solid acacia, with iron and MDF in the structure.

What size room does it suit?

A round table sits happily in front of a sofa, or in a room where the seats face each other round it. Only you can tell how your room flows; the measurements above help.

What goes with it

There's a Brookland Slatted Side Table to match, 60cm high, for the end of the sofa.
