Cascia Coffee Table

Travertine on a scalloped drum, for the board people gather round.

The fire's lit and everyone has drifted in from the kitchen. The board goes down on the stone, people pull in close on cushions and the arms of chairs, and the round table means nobody's stuck at the far end.

The Cascia is a round coffee table, 89cm across and 38cm high, with a travertine stone top inset into a drum base of mango wood, finished dark, with scalloped edges. It's about 45kg and arrives in one box.

Is the top real stone?

Yes, travertine, set into the mango-wood base. Natural stone varies, so the pattern on yours is its own.

Does travertine need special care?

Wipe spills promptly, especially wine and anything acidic like lemon, and use coasters. A damp cloth is enough day to day.

Is it heavy?

About 45kg. It's one to place once and leave.

How low is 38cm?

On the low side, which suits deep sofas and floor cushions. If your sofa seat is tall, you might prefer something nearer 45cm.

What goes with it

The Cascia Side Table pairs the same travertine and scalloped mango wood at 54cm high.
