“Is 92 centimetres too much footstool for our room?” It’s a fair question, and one you can answer before you order — here, or at our showroom in Ballincollig. The Cercola is 92cm across and 44.5cm high, which is roughly the height of many sofa seats — so it lines up as a footrest, a spare seat, or, with a tray on top, a low table. Mark a 92cm circle out on your floor with masking tape and live with it for a day: if you’re still walking round it easily, it fits.

Will it fit?

It stands on short feet with 10.5cm clear underneath, and there’s storage inside for the throws, the board games and the remote controls that wander.

Before you order

The showroom is at Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968, open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm, closed Sundays. No appointment; nobody will hurry you. Living with it

Most evenings it’s a footrest. When the house fills up, it becomes the table for the crisps and a seat for whoever arrived last. A few things to expect. New upholstery settles: the foam and fibre soften a little over the first weeks and the fabric can show marks where people have perched. That’s normal; smooth and plump it and it evens out. And cream shows what lands on it, so a tray for drinks earns its place.

Delivery

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Will it take a guest?
Yes. Its seat height is listed at 44.5cm, around a dining chair’s, so it takes a guest when the chairs run out.

Does it come in other colours?
This one is cream. If cream worries you with a busy household, ask us in the showroom what else we can show you.

Is it heavy to move?
About 32kg packed. One person can slide it; two will lift it.
