The Connolly is a 110cm dining table for four, with a white marble-effect glass top on black iron legs that cross underneath. It’s sized for the kitchen where people actually eat, and you can order it through our showroom in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.

Will it fit in our kitchen?

Allow about 90cm behind each chair on every side and the table and four chairs take roughly 2.9m by 2.9m. In a kitchen, one side can sit nearer a wall if that chair is the one that doesn’t move much.

Does it really seat four?

Yes, comfortably: 110cm across gives each of four well over the 60cm or so we’d allow each diner. If you regularly have six at the table, a longer rectangular table will serve you better.

Is the top real marble?

No. It’s glass with a white marble effect — the look of marble, in glass. The whole table is about 31.6kg packed.

What’s underneath?

Black iron legs crossing under the centre. There’s 74cm clear under the glass, and 68cm between the legs, so knees have room.

How do I look after a glass top?

A damp cloth and then a dry one. As with any glass top, we’d put mats under hot pans and dishes.

Is there assembly?

Just the legs. The table comes in two boxes.

Which chairs go with it?

At Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968, about 10 minutes from Cork city, open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm, closed Sundays. No appointment; nobody will hurry you. Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
