Cosenza Dining Chair Vanilla (Set of 2)

Two soft vanilla chairs on slim tapered legs, sold as a pair.

Six round a table meant for four, and the bowl of pasta doing a slow lap. Someone asks for the salt and it travels hand to hand from the far end. Two extra chairs in the corner are the difference between that and people eating off their knees.

Sold as a pair: two Cosenza dining chairs, packed in one box, and the measurements below are for one. Each has a fully upholstered seat in a vanilla polyester fabric, a soft white rather than a bright one, on tapered metal legs. We sell them through our showroom in Ballincollig.

A 47cm seat leaves about 28cm under a 75cm table top: the comfortable middle of the usual range.

The showroom is at Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968. Open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm, closed Sundays; no appointment needed, and nobody will hurry you. Come in and sit at a few of our tables and chairs to get the height and the feel right before you choose. Get directions.

Delivery

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Asked and answered

Do they need putting together?
Only the legs: fitting them is the only assembly.

How white is vanilla?
Soft and warm rather than brilliant white. Screens flatter or dull it; if the shade matters, email us and we’ll describe it against a white you know.

Will a pale seat cope with dinner?
A pale seat shows what lands on it more than a dark one does. If the chairs are going to a table with small children, you might weigh that up — or keep this pair for the grown-up end.
