In a smaller home a round table can fit where a square one won’t, simply because there are no corners to catch a hip on. The Craft Round Dining Table in Smoked is 110cm across, listed to seat four, and one of the Craft designs we order in for customers in Ballincollig.

What floor space does it take?

The table is 110cm across. With a chair pulled out on each of four sides, allowing about 90cm behind each, you’re using a circle roughly 2.9m across. Against a wall with three chairs, a good deal less.

Does it really seat four?

It’s listed for four. The legs stand 66cm apart, so check that against the width of the chairs you have in mind.

What’s it made from?

Oak and oak-veneered MDF with a smoked finish, a simple round top and a shaped underframe.

How dark is the smoked finish?

Darker than the Natural, it’s the deeper of the two Craft finishes. In a small room with little daylight, the question is whether you’d rather the table recede or stand out, and your floor and walls decide that; we can show you both finishes in the showroom.

Will it get through a narrow hall?

It comes in one box, around 28kg packed, and only the legs go on at home. Measure the tightest turn on the way in and compare it with 110cm.

What goes with it in a small room?

The Craft Cocktail Cabinet in Smoked is 85cm wide and stands tall rather than wide, which is kinder to a small room. The Craft 4 Door Sideboard in Smoked is 170cm long: honestly, that’s a lot of wall in a small room, so measure first.

How do we look after it?

Mats under hot dishes and a damp cloth for spills. The timber moves a little with the heating in the first winter, and that’s normal.

How long is delivery?

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay. Republic of Ireland only.
