Each chair is 46cm wide and 62cm deep. The cantilever base has no back legs; the frame runs from under the seat down to the floor in one line, so the question for a kitchen is less about width and more about how far each chair can push back. Allow about 90cm from the table edge to the wall or cooker behind, so someone can stand up without a shuffle. With a 75cm dining table, the 47cm seat leaves about 28cm for knees, inside the usual 25–30cm.

The give in the frame
Cantilever chairs tend to give slightly when you sit back; that’s the design rather than a fault. Some people love that give and some don’t. Living with them
New upholstery settles: the seat can feel a touch firmer for the first few weeks and eases as it’s sat in. Felt pads under the bronzed base help it slide on hard floors. For the faux leather, check with us before using any product on it. These are chairs for the table you actually use, not ones kept for visitors.

Both chairs come together in one box. Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
