The Elliot comes as a pair: two dining chairs in slate grey upholstery on solid ash legs, with the measurements below given for one chair. They’re Scandinavian in outline, clean and shaped without fuss, and they suit a dining room or a kitchen-diner where the table does more than one job. Our Ballincollig showroom can talk you through both colours.

When people call in

Somebody arrives with a bottle, somebody else with a dish that needs somewhere to go. Coats are dropped over the backs of chairs, and within ten minutes everybody’s sitting and the first bottle is open. The Elliot is made for that part of the evening: a wide seat you settle into, an upholstered back, and a grey that forgives a splash of sauce better than a pale fabric would.

Sizes

Measure first: two of these side by side need about 115cm, so a 160cm table takes two along each side and a 180cm table three. Leave around 90cm behind for pushing back.

What goes with them

Grey and ash sit easily with a pale oak table, a white or marble-effect top, or black metal. One idea: Slate Grey at the ends and the Neutral Elliot along the sides, so the table looks put together rather than bought in one go. Start with the dining tables, then decide how many pairs.

Getting them to you

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Before you ask

Is the fabric pure linen?
The listed materials are ash, linen and polyester. If a pure-linen cover matters to you, email us and we’ll confirm the exact make-up.

How tall are they?
84cm to the top of the back, with the seat at 49cm.

How many sets for a table of eight?
Four pairs. Measure the table first: at 57cm a chair, three fit along 180cm.
