Epsom Tripod Table

The Epsom is a tripod table in metal, 52cm across and 62cm high, with a high-walled tray top in a distressed, hammered duck-egg blue, gold inside and gold detailing at the foot of each leg. The walled top is the practical part: on an evening with people over, the glass set down on it stays set down. It's lamp height rather than sofa-arm height, and it weighs 6.1kg.

Measure first. Three legs splay, so the footprint at the floor is wider than the 52cm top. Check the gap beside the chair with that in mind, and check the height of the chair arm against 62cm: this table stands above it, which is right for a lamp and for reaching up to a drink, but not for a surface flush with the arm.

What is the finish?

A distressed, hammered duck-egg blue on the outside of the tray top, with gold inside and gold detailing at the foot of each leg.

How high are the walls on the top?

High enough that a glass stays put. It's a tray on three legs rather than a flat top, so nothing rolls off.

Is 62cm a sofa height?

No, it's above a sofa arm. It suits a lamp, or a drink beside an armchair at the height a hand reaches without looking.

Is it heavy?
