Oak and mid-grey, 1.6 metres tall, with open shelves and two doors.
The Fuji Open Display pairs natural oak with mid-grey painted panels; its doors carry a routed relief pattern, and it stands on slim black metal legs. A unit this tall has to suit the wall, the ceiling and the stairs between the van and your kitchen, so start with the measurements. It’s one of the storage pieces we order in through our showroom in Ballincollig.
| Dimension | mm | cm |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 1,000 | 100 |
| Depth | 350 | 35 |
| Height | 1,600 | 160 |
| Clearance under the unit | 160 | 16 |
| Compartment width, inside | 480 | 48 |
| Compartment depth, inside | 310 | 31 |
| Taller compartments, height inside (6) | 320 | 32 |
| Shorter compartments, height inside (4) | 180 | 18 |
In a real room: at 35cm deep it stands against a kitchen or dining-room wall without eating into the floor, and the 16cm under the legs lets a mop or a robot vacuum through. Check the spot for light switches and sockets before you settle on it; at 160cm tall and 100cm wide, it covers whatever’s behind it.
How it’s built
- Oak, with mid-grey painted panels behind the open shelves
- Routed relief pattern on the two doors
- Slim black metal legs and matching handles
- Ten compartments: six at 32cm high, four at 18cm high
- Shelves are fixed, not adjustable
- Anti-topple kit included
- Legs to fit; one box, 60.5kg
Good homes for it, and one it won’t suit
The kitchen is where most people actually gather, whatever the dining room was meant for, and the Fuji is built for that room: glasses, the teapot, cookbooks and the bowls you use every day, all within reach of the table.
If you’d rather everything was hidden away, the Fuji 3 Door Sideboard keeps its shelves behind doors. And because the shelves here are fixed at 32cm and 18cm, measure your tallest bottle or vase first.
Talk it through in Ballincollig
Height is the hardest thing to judge on a screen. Bring your ceiling height and the width of the wall; in the showroom we can go through the oak and grey finish with you and check the Fuji against your figures. We’re at Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968, open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm, closed Sundays. No appointment needed, and nobody will hurry you. Get directions
Once it’s home
Fit the anti-topple kit to the wall before anything goes on the shelves. Oak is a natural material and moves a little with the heating, so keep the unit off a radiator. New doors can feel a touch stiff at first and ease with use.
How it gets to you
Delivered across Cork and nationwide in the Republic of Ireland, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. Allow around four weeks, and we’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
Questions about the Fuji Open Display
Can I move the shelves?
No. They’re fixed, with six compartments at 32cm high and four at 18cm.
Which parts are behind doors?
Six compartments are open, with grey painted panels at the back; the rest sit behind the two doors. If the layout matters for what you want to store, email us and we’ll confirm it.
Will dinner plates fit?
A typical dinner plate is 26–28cm across, so it lies flat in the 48cm by 31cm compartments and stands upright in the taller ones.
Is it heavy?
The box is 60.5kg. Two people, and ideally a third to hold the doors.
Any question, any at all: email info@mulberryhouse.ie and a person in the showroom will answer it.
