Retro shape, slim legs, and a seat that keeps someone in the conversation.

The kitchen table seats six and there are eight. Two Funtons come through from the living room, and because the seat is 48.5cm nobody is sitting lower than anyone else. After dinner they go back, and the living room has two more seats for the people who followed.

The Funton is an occasional chair in charcoal faux leather (PU) on slim powder-coated iron legs, 63.5cm wide, 88.5cm deep and 83.5cm high, with a padded back and a foam seat cushion on a plywood frame. The seat is 48.5cm high, which is close to dining height, and there is 32.5cm of clear floor under it. It is the chair that sits upright enough to eat off a tray and comfortable enough to stay in after.

Is it leather?

No. It is a charcoal faux leather listed as PU, over foam, on a plywood frame. The Light Grey and Midnight versions are in polyester fabric.

What are the legs?

Slim iron legs with a powder-coated finish, giving 32.5cm of clear floor under the seat.

Can it sit at a table?

At 48.5cm the seat is dining height, and the arms are 49cm apart. Check the table apron clears the arms; most do.

What is retro about it?

The shape: a rounded seat and back on splayed slim legs, with a padded cushion. It sits well with mid-century and Scandi pieces.

Legs only. One box, around 15kg.

Allow around four weeks. It can be delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We'll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
