Hawking Lounge Chair Brown

Low, curved and brown: the extra seat that stays out all winter.

At dinner: it stays by the fire, out of the way. The rest of the time: the chair by the window with a book. When people stay: lifted into the circle, and the sofa stops being short.

The Hawking is a lounge chair with a curved seat in brown faux leather (PU) on a black powder-coated iron frame, 65.5cm wide, 67.5cm deep and 78cm high, with foam and polyfibre padding on plywood. The seat is low, 39cm, and the whole chair is light enough to carry in one hand, which is why it ends up wherever the people are. Hawking also comes as a dining chair and a stool.

Dimensions

Is it leather?

No. The curved seat is upholstered in a brown faux leather listed as PU, over foam and polyfibre, on a black metal frame.

How low is the seat?

39cm from the floor, with 65.5cm between the arms and a 47cm seat depth. It is lower than a sofa, so it is a lean-back chair. If you want to sit upright, the Funton at 48.5cm will suit you better.

How heavy is it?

Around 12kg in the box, so it is easy to move. There is 37.5cm of clear floor under the seat.

What else is in the Hawking range?

This lounge chair comes in four colours, and the same shape is made as a dining chair and as a stool, so a kitchen and living room can match.

Assembly?

Legs only. One box.
