Hinks Dining Chair Brown (Set of 2)

Two brown faux leather chairs, to sit beside the ones you already have.

“I only need two more chairs. Will new ones look odd next to the old ones?” It’s a worry we hear a lot. The Hinks comes as a pair, in brown faux leather with stitched seams on bronze-finished metal legs, and the measurements below are for one chair. Put them beside your own chairs’ numbers and you’ll know before you leave home, or bring the question to our Ballincollig showroom.

The rule of thumb is simple: if the seat heights are within a couple of centimetres, a mix reads as a choice rather than an accident. The Hinks seat is 47cm high.

The numbers to compare

Measure one of your current chairs from the floor to the top of the seat, then to the top of the back. Those two numbers tell you most of what matters.

Bring a photo of your chairs

Drop in to Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968, a short hop from Cork city, with a photo of your own chairs on your phone. We’ll compare heights and finishes with you, and order the Hinks in if it isn’t there to see. Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm. Closed Sundays. No appointment needed, and nobody will hurry you. Six instead of four

The extra pair is what turns four at the table into six, and the bowls start doing the rounds. New faux leather can feel firmer than it will in a month, and the stitched seams take a little while to relax into shape. That settling is normal for new upholstery. If a chair feels slightly stiff at first, it’s simply new.

Delivery times

Both chairs come in one box. Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
