Holbrook 2 Door Cabinet Mint

In mint, the Holbrook two-door cabinet is a piece with some colour and some pattern in it, painted, on solid oak legs capped in brass. If you’re thinking of it for the room where the family sits down to dinner each week, these are the questions to ask, and our Ballincollig showroom is where to ask them in person.

Is mint going to be too much?

Less than you’d fear. It’s one cabinet against a wall, not a painted room, and brass handles give the green something warm to sit against. Next to oak or a pale grey wall it reads as fresh rather than loud. If you want the same shape in a quieter colour, the Holbrook comes in grey.

How big is it?

What will it hold?

The shelves adjust, with 35cm between them as set, so a wine bottle stands upright. Plates, bowls and the platter that only comes out when everyone’s home all find a place.

What’s it built from?

MDF and painted solid oak, with melamine board inside. The handles are brass, and so are the caps on the feet. The door pattern is routed, cut into the surface rather than applied.

Will it be hard to put together?

It needs full assembly, and all the tools are supplied. The box weighs about 43kg, so two people for carrying and a bit of floor space to work on.

Is it safe with children around?

It comes with an anti-topple kit to fix it to the wall, and that’s worth doing in any home with climbers.

What would I put it with?

Allow around four weeks. We deliver across Cork and nationwide, or you can collect from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
