Jaspa 3 Floor Lamp

Three white globes on a dimmer, turned down for the evening.

The Jaspa 3 is the smaller of two Jaspa floor lamps: three white glass shades on arms off a satin nickel stem, 28cm wide, 66cm deep and 180cm tall. The Jaspa 5 has five shades on the same stem, 2cm deeper. Three is enough for the corner of an average sitting room and takes up less of the eye; five earns its place in a bigger room or a double-height space. Both have a rotary dimmer at the centre of the stem, so when people come over the globes go down to a glow and the overhead light stays off.

Dimensions and lighting spec

• Bulb type: 5W LED module (COB) Warm White (×3)
• Bulb included: yes
• Switch: rotary dimmer

Are the bulbs built in?

Yes. Three 5W warm white LED modules, one per shade. There is nothing to buy or replace.

Can I dim it?

Yes. The rotary dimmer on the stem takes it from full to low and switches it off.

Is the glass fragile?

It is glass, so treat it as glass when moving it. It weighs about 8.5kg boxed.

Is it tall enough beside a sofa?

At 180cm it stands well above the sofa back, so the light comes from above the people sitting on it.

What goes with it

The Jaspa 5 is the larger version. A dark side table under the arms keeps the white globes looking crisp.
