Kelvedon Dining Chair Natural (Set of 2)

Natural boucle over a curved back and seat, on pale ash legs.

The Kelvedon in Natural is a pair of dining chairs upholstered in natural boucle on ash legs; you get two chairs, and the measurements are for one. They’re the soft counterpart to a wooden table in a dining room or kitchen-diner, and the pair arrive ready to sit on. Our showroom is in Ballincollig, and we’re glad to talk through the Kelvedon colours with you there.

Staying on after the plates go

Some meals end when the plates do. Others run on: dessert, a second pot of coffee, somebody finally telling the story they’ve been saving. Those are the evenings a fully upholstered back earns its place, because nobody is perched. You linger in a chair like this without noticing the time.

The facts

• Two chairs; ash legs
• Seat and gently curved back upholstered in natural boucle (polyester)
• Foam and polyester fibre padding
• No assembly
• One box, 24.2kg packed

Measure for a pair

Leave about 90cm behind each chair so people can push back and stand without shuffling the table.

Put it with

• A whitewashed table, for pale on pale
• A dark wood table, where the boucle lifts it
• A round table, with four of them tucked in

You’ll find all three in our dining tables. Choose the table and the chairs follow; we’re happy to suggest pairings in the showroom.

Come and sit a while

Many of our dining chairs are set out beside a table, so you can test a seat height against a real top; ask about the Kelvedon and we’ll say which colours are out at the moment. Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968. Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm. Closed Sundays. No appointment needed; nobody will hurry you. Get directions

What people ask

How is Natural different from the green and taupe? It’s in boucle, on ash legs rather than oak, and it arrives fully made.

Is boucle sensible at a dining table? It’s a looped fabric, so blot spills quickly and keep sharp buckles off it. Whether it suits your house is your call, and we’re happy to talk it through.

How many for a six-seat table? Three pairs.

Any question, any at all: email info@mulberryhouse.ie and a person in the showroom will answer it.
