Kingham Extending Dining Table

Solid oak at 150cm day to day, opening to 200cm for more.

The Kingham Extending Dining Table is solid oak, 150cm long closed and 200cm open, and 95cm wide. Closed, it suits the four of you on a Tuesday; opened, it takes the nights when more people come. Our showroom is in Ballincollig if you’d like to talk it through.

How big is it, closed and open?

How many does it seat?

Six to eight, with it opened to 200cm. Closed, at 150cm, it’s a table for fewer; work it out on about 60cm of edge per person for your own household.

What’s it made of?

Solid oak. That means the top is oak all the way through, not a thin layer over board.

How does it extend?

From 150cm to 200cm. Ask us how it opens and we’ll explain the mechanism before you order.

Will it stand up to daily use?

Oak is a hard, forgiving timber for a table that gets used. Because it’s solid, a scratch on the top is a scratch in oak rather than through to something else. A biro pressed hard through a letter will dent it, as it would any wood, and hot mugs want a coaster.

Does it need putting together?

Yes. It comes in one box, 68kg packed, so two people to carry it in and a bit of time to assemble it.

Which chairs go with it?

Oak takes almost any chair: upholstered, painted, black metal. Browse the dining chairs and then test a few seat heights against a table when you’re in.

Can I visit before I order?
