Kubbe Chair Vanilla

Soft bouclé on ash legs: the chair people claim before dinner.

• Vanilla bouclé polyester fabric over foam and poly fibre
• Ash legs with 19cm clear under the seat
• 65cm wide, 69.5cm deep, 75.5cm high
• Seat 44cm high, 65cm between the arms, 50cm deep
• One box, around 19kg

The Kubbe is a lounge chair in vanilla bouclé polyester fabric on ash legs, 65cm wide, 69.5cm deep and 75.5cm high, with foam and poly fibre filling on a plywood frame. It is a low, rounded chair with a 44cm seat and a back that stops at 75.5cm, so it sits under a window or beside a sofa without blocking anything, and it is the one that gets taken first when people arrive.

What is bouclé?

A looped, textured weave. Here it is a polyester fabric in a vanilla cream, soft to the hand and with a visible texture that reads well in a plain room.

Is cream bouclé practical?

It is a pale fabric with texture, so it hides a little more than a flat cream but shows more than a dark fabric. It suits a room where it is sat in rather than eaten over.

How low is it?

The seat is 44cm, the arms are 65cm apart and the seat is 50cm deep, with the back at 75.5cm. It is a lounge seat, not a table seat, and the low back keeps it out of the way of a window.

What are the legs?

Ash, with 19cm of clear floor beneath the seat. A warm, pale wood that goes with oak.
