Livorno Dining Chair Sand

The Livorno Dining Chair in Sand is sold as a single chair: curved, fully upholstered, with arms and a high back on black iron legs. With arms on a chair, your table’s height matters as much as the chair’s, so get a tape under your table before anything else; our Ballincollig showroom will check the figures with you.

The figures

A 48cm seat leaves about 27cm under a 75cm tabletop. The arms add width: 57cm overall against a 43cm seat. What we don’t have is an arm height, so before you buy, take your table’s height underneath, floor to apron, and bring that number in. We’ll check it against the chair.

Where it fits, where it won’t

In a kitchen-diner, a pair of Livornos at the ends of the table give the two people who stay longest somewhere proper to sit. A full set works too, on a table with the length for it. Where it doesn’t: at 57cm wide, three along a 150cm side won’t go. Measure the edge and divide by 60cm.

Come in and try a few of our armed and armless chairs at a table to feel the difference; ask about the Livorno and we’ll tell you whether it’s out that week. Living with it

Sand is a light colour, so it shows marks sooner than a dark fabric; blot spills straight away. New upholstery firms up then settles over a few weeks, and it’s worth re-checking the leg fixings after a month.

Delivery

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Is this one chair? Yes, one chair. Order as many as your table takes.

Will the arms go under my table? It depends on your table’s height underneath. Bring or email us the measurement and we’ll find out the arm height for you.

What does sand go with? Oak, walnut, black and white all sit well with it, and it softens a hard kitchen.

Is it heavy to move? No. Around 12kg in its box, so easy to lift from the table to the window.
