Manford Bar Stool Saffron (Set of 2)

Saffron yellow at the counter: two stools, one warm colour.

These are Manford stools in saffron fabric, sold as a pair, with a 65cm seat for a kitchen counter. Colour is usually the first thing people in Ballincollig ask us about with these, and height is the second.

What size are they?

Two come packed in one box, and these measurements are for a single stool.

Give each stool about 60cm of counter, so a 1.8-metre island takes three with room to pass a plate.

Is 65cm the right height for my counter?

If your counter is standard kitchen height, around 90cm, yes: that leaves about 25cm between seat and worktop. If it’s a bar-height counter of 100–110cm, these will sit too low, and it’s better to know that now than when they arrive.

What colour is saffron, really?

A warm golden yellow, more spice than lemon. It looks well against white and grey kitchens, oak, and dark green or navy units; beside a very orange timber it can be a lot. Screens vary, so if the shade matters, email us and we’ll tell you plainly how it sits next to what you have.

Can I mix colours?

Yes. The Manford also comes in bottle green, brown and light grey, and a saffron pair at one end with grey at the other is one way to do it. There are matching Manford Dining Chairs in saffron for the table.

What’s it made from?

Iron legs, a plywood seat, foam, and saffron polyester fabric with extra stitch detailing across the shaped back and curved seat.

Is there assembly?

The legs go on when it arrives, and that’s it.

Can I try the height before I buy?

The surest way is to perch on a couple of different counter stools and see which height suits you. There’s plenty of dining seating set out at Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. When will they arrive?

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
