Marco Footstool Verona Golden

A golden upholstered footstool on an ash frame, 36.5cm high.

The Marco footstool is for after the table: the weekly family dinner done, everyone moved to the sofa, feet up. It’s a low, compact living room piece rather than a dining one, and one of the footstools we sell from our Ballincollig showroom.

Footstool, by the numbers

At 65cm by 50cm it takes two pairs of feet, or one person stretched out, and it’s small enough to push aside when the room fills. At 36.5cm it sits a little below most sofa and armchair seats, which is usually how a footstool feels right: legs raised, not level.

Where it earns its place

In front of an armchair, or at the middle of a sofa, in the living room that takes the overflow after dinner. Golden is warm: it sits well with brown or tan sofas, oak floors, cream walls and deep greens.

Where it doesn’t: it isn’t a dining seat and isn’t meant to be drawn up to the table. And if your room is all cool greys and white, the Verona Sepia Marco may sit more quietly.

Once it’s home

The upholstery softens a little over the first weeks, which is foam and fibre settling rather than wear. Ash can respond to the heating, so a tiny change at a joint is timber, not a fault. Vacuum the fabric now and then with a soft brush attachment.

Bringing it home

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
