A marble console is the easiest serving table you'll own: cold dishes sit on it without a mat, and a hot one needs only a board. Put it on the wall nearest the dining table and the second course never has to fight for space with the glasses. The rest of the year it's the hall table that looks like it was built with the house.

The Marmo is a two-drawer console in solid mango wood with a grey-washed finish, vertical ribbing on the drawer fronts and a polished white marble top with grey-blue veins. It's 130cm wide, 45cm deep and 75cm high, with 58.2cm clear beneath, and it weighs 53.2kg. The ribbing catches the light; the marble takes the plates.

Is the marble real?

Yes, polished white marble with grey and blue veining. Every top is different, and that's the nature of it.

Will wine stain it?

Marble is a natural stone and will mark if red wine or lemon is left on it. Wipe spills as they happen and use a tray for the bottles; it'll stay as it is.

How heavy is it to move?

53.2kg in one box, so two people and a clear route. Decide the wall before it arrives.

What's the assembly?

Legs and feet only, with an anti-topple kit included.

Around four weeks, usually. It can be delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge, and we confirm the date with you before you pay.
