Melbury Coffee Table Grey

Lift the top off and the drinks go round the room.

The bell goes again and there are more people than seats. You lift the tray off the Melbury, take the glasses round to whoever's standing by the window, and bring it back empty. The base stays where it was, ready for the tray.

The Melbury is a 65cm coffee table, 50cm high, in painted metal, with a tray-style top that lifts off. One section of the base carries on up and over the top to form a handle. This one is grey, the most neutral of the colours we list; it's about 6.5kg, and only the top goes on at home.

Does the tray really lift off?

Yes. The tray-style top lifts off the base so you can carry it round, then set it back.

What size is it?

The 65cm width and depth are the size of the tray top; the table is 50cm high, with the handle rising above.

Is it sturdy?

It's metal throughout, light at about 6.5kg, so it moves easily. Set the tray squarely back on the base before loading it up again.

What other colours are there?

Here it's also in latte, teal and white, and the range runs to six colours in all.

What goes with it

In the same design: Latte, Teal and White. The Melbury side table is 66cm high; the white and latte ones sit easily beside grey.
