Small enough for the box room, tidy enough for the table.

The Mendel in Charcoal is a compact swivel office chair in charcoal faux leather (PU) on an iron base with nylon castors, 47cm wide, 51cm deep and 76.5 to 86.5cm high, with a gas-lift seat from 35 to 45cm. It is built for the desk in the smallest room in the house, and because it is narrow and dark it can be rolled to the end of a table on a busy night without looking out of place.

What is it upholstered in?

A charcoal faux leather listed as PU, over foam, on a plywood seat and back. It is not real leather.

Is the seat shallow?

Yes, 35.5cm deep and 47cm wide. It is a compact chair, so it suits a smaller frame or a shorter sitting. For a deeper seat on castors, the McIntyre is 45cm deep.

How low does it go?

The seat drops to 35cm and rises to 45cm. That is lower than the other desk chairs in the range, which is useful at a low desk or for a younger person.

Does it roll on a hard floor?

It is on nylon castors. A mat under the desk is kind to a wooden floor; only you can tell how your floor takes them.

Assembly?

Required. One box, around 9kg.

What goes with it

The sibling is the Mendel in Brown, the same chair in a warmer faux leather.
