Supper from the sofa on a table, not a knee, with storage down the side.

At dinner: the plate on your knee becomes a plate on a table, beside the sofa, at the right height.
The rest of the time: a narrow 30cm-deep table against the sofa arm for the laptop, the cup and the book.
When people stay: the breakfast tray table in the spare room, or the lamp table where nothing wider fits.

The Milano Supper Table is 45cm wide, 30cm deep and 65cm high, in European oak and rustic oak veneers with the Milano chevron inlay top, a matt lacquer with the grain brushed out, and storage built into the side. It arrives in one box, made up, no assembly, 9kg. A supper table earns its place on the evening there are more people than places at the table: at 65cm it stands above the sofa arm so a plate and a glass sit at a height you can eat from, and at 30cm deep it goes where a square side table will not.

What is a supper table?

A tall, narrow side table at a height you can eat from while sitting on a sofa, usually 60 to 70cm. This one is 65cm. It takes a plate and a glass, which a 50cm side table does not do comfortably.

What is the side storage for?

A slot on the side for the things a supper table collects: a magazine, a book, a tablet. Not a drawer, so nothing is hidden, just held.

Does it match the Milano side tables?

Same oak, same chevron, same brushed matt finish. A supper table at one end of the sofa and a side table at the other is how the three pieces are meant to be used.
