Novara Coffee Table

Thirty centimetres high, glazed charcoal brown, and happy indoors or out.

The Novara is a long, low coffee table, 130cm by 50cm and 30cm high, made from glass-fibre-reinforced concrete in a charcoal-brown glaze with a faux tile detail. It has a modern Italian, slightly retro look, and it's suitable for indoor or outdoor use. No assembly.

Measure first

At 30cm it's lower than most coffee tables, so check it against your sofa: on a deep, low sofa it feels natural; on a tall one you'll be reaching down. It weighs about 76kg, so plan its path from the door, and decide whether it's spending the summer on the patio before it arrives.

Can it go outside?

Yes, it's suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

What does the faux tile detail look like?

The glazed surface is marked to suggest tiles, in a charcoal-brown glaze.

Will it mark?

Use coasters, wipe spills as they happen, and a damp cloth does for everyday cleaning.

Is it too low for eating from?

For a board and a few glasses, it's comfortable. For plates of dinner, a taller table may suit you better.

What goes with it

The Novara Side Table is in the same glazed concrete, 50cm high, for a lamp or a glass at the end of the sofa.
