A metre-high acacia drinks cabinet that keeps the table for people.
The Oklahoma drinks cabinet is two doors of natural acacia with iron, 880mm wide and a metre high: a comfortable height to pour a drink standing up. It sits at the end of a dining room, beside the door into the living room, or anywhere guests tend to hover on their way in. It’s part of the Oklahoma range, with a matching sideboard, and if you’d like to talk it through, we’re in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.
When the table fills up
Six people at a table built for six works until the bottles arrive. Water, wine, something fizzy for the driver, a spare glass or two, and the middle of the table turns into a car park with nowhere to set the salad down. The first thing that runs out isn’t chairs, it’s table.
That’s the job this cabinet does. The drinks and glasses live in it and on top of it, and the table is left for the food and the people eating it. Anyone wanting a top-up gets up and helps themselves, which is no bad thing halfway through a long meal.

Leave around 60cm clear in front: enough to open both doors and stand there with a glass. Acacia has a lively grain with plenty of colour variation, so yours will be its own piece rather than a copy of the photograph.
What it goes with
The obvious partner is the Oklahoma 2 Door 3 Drawer Sideboard, the same acacia and iron at a longer, lower size: drinks on one wall, serving on the other. If you’d rather mix ranges, browse our sideboards and buffets.

Asked and answered
What’s inside?
Two doors of storage. If the inside layout matters for what you plan to keep in it, ask us and we’ll confirm it before you order.
Does it need fixing to the wall?
It comes with an anti-topple kit. A metre isn’t tall, but with small children climbing about, it’s worth fixing to the wall.
Is acacia a hardwood?
Yes. It’s dense, with a strong grain and warm colour, which is why the Oklahoma pieces look the way they do.
Any question, any at all: email info@mulberryhouse.ie and a person in the showroom will answer it.
