Oppo Dining Chair Charcoal (Set of 2)

A compact pair of charcoal chairs for a home with one table.

Picture a flat in Cork with one table. It’s where dinner happens, where the laptop lives between meals, and where two people sit on a Sunday sorting out the bills. The chairs at it get sat on for hours, not minutes, and in a small room they’re never out of sight.

What they are

A pair of Oppo dining chairs in charcoal fabric (a dark grey), with oval backs and black metal legs. Sizes below are for one chair. At 48cm wide, they’re on the compact side, which is the point in a smaller home. We sell the Oppo range from Ballincollig, west of Cork city.

• Two chairs in the pair
• Foam seat upholstered in dark grey polyester fabric
• Oval backrest, black metal legs
• One box for both, about 14kg as packed; only the legs go on

Measure first

Allow about 60cm of table edge per chair. A 1.2-metre table takes two a side; a 90cm round table takes three, or four if you’re friends. Leave 90cm behind each chair where you can, less if it’s the side nobody walks behind.

Find a table

Browse our dining tables; a compact chair gives you more choice of table in a small room. The same shape comes as a counter stool, the Oppo Bar Stool Charcoal, if there’s a breakfast bar too.

Getting the feel right

Come in and sit at a few of our tables and chairs to get the height and the feel right before you choose. A compact 48cm chair feels different from a broad one, and it’s worth knowing which you prefer. Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968. Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm. Closed Sundays. No appointment needed; nobody will hurry you. Get directions

Four weeks, give or take

Allow around four weeks for delivery, across Cork and nationwide (Republic of Ireland only). Or collect it from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. Either way, we’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Worth asking

Is charcoal very dark?
It’s a dark grey rather than black, and the legs are black. It keeps a small room calm, and it doesn’t show much.

Will they work as desk chairs too?
They’re dining chairs, with a 48cm seat height, which suits a standard 75cm table or desk. Whether they suit a long working day is personal; ten minutes on a chair of a similar size will tell you more than we can.

Do they come in other colours?
Yes, green and a natural fabric, both in pairs.

Any question, any at all: email info@mulberryhouse.ie and a person in the showroom will answer it.
