Oslo Floor Lamp Base

Slim antique brass stand for the lamp table corner; choose the shade yourself.

Paul’s pro tip: buying the base and shade separately is how you get a lamp that matches the room rather than the catalogue. Pick the shade last, with a cushion or curtain sample in your hand, and go a size larger than feels safe; small shades on tall bases look mean.

The Oslo is a floor lamp base in steel with an antique brass effect finish, 25.5cm across and 135cm tall, supplied without a shade. It takes one E27 bulb and switches on a foot switch on the cable. Choose a shade in the fabric and size that suits the room and you have a lamp for the corner beside the sofa, lit low when people come over.
