Two Palmer bar stools, sold as a pair, with a 75cm seat that suits a raised bar or high counter; every figure below is for one stool. They suit a home bar or a high counter where people stand and chat as much as sit, and they’re ordered through our Ballincollig showroom, near Cork.

Check one thing first: if your counter is standard kitchen worktop height, around 90cm, these will be too tall and you’ll be sitting with your knees at the counter top. They’re for bars and high counters of about 100 to 110cm. For ordinary worktops, the Oppo stools at 65cm are the ones to look at.

Is it real leather?
No, it’s faux leather, with stitched seams.

How is it different from the grey Palmer?
Same shape and seat height. The brown has bronze legs and stands 1,080mm overall; the grey has black legs and is 1,060mm.
