Grey-washed oak on slim rubberwood legs, sized for an apartment and happy anywhere.

The Panelled Side Table is square, 45cm wide, 45cm deep and 55cm high, with a white oak veneered top in a grey wash and solid rubberwood legs finished to match. It was designed with apartment living in mind, which shows in the light frame and the 53cm of clear floor under it, but it sits as easily at the end of a sofa in a house. It arrives made up, no assembly, in one box at 10kg. At 55cm it stands a little above most sofa arms, a comfortable reach for a glass and a sensible height for a lamp when the evening settles in. There are matching pieces in the Panelled range.

What colour is grey wash?

A thin grey over pale oak, so the grain shows through and the overall tone is a soft grey-brown rather than a flat grey. It sits with cool and warm schemes.

Is it solid wood?

Solid rubberwood legs, with a white oak veneer over MDF for the top. The surface you touch is oak.

Is 10kg light enough to move about?

Yes. One hand under the top and it goes to the end of the dining table when the extra people arrive, and comes back after.

Will it work in a small room?

That is what it was drawn for. The slim legs and open frame keep it from looking heavy in a tight space.

What goes with it

For a second grey-toned table in the room, the Marmo Side Table puts a marble top on a grey-washed mango drum at sofa-arm height.
