Pavia Side Table Concrete

Concrete-look, 30cm across, and the one-glass table for between two chairs.

Paul’s pro tip: a 30cm table is a one-glass table, and that is its strength. Put the Pavia where a bigger table would crowd the chair: between two armchairs, beside a reading chair in the window, or at the end of a bed. Leave the lamp to a larger table and let this one hold the drink.

The Pavia in concrete is a small side table 30cm wide, 30cm deep and 46cm high, moulded in glass-reinforced concrete into a flowing, organic shape and finished in a concrete look with the subtle texture and natural pitting the material gives. It arrives in one box at 15kg. At 46cm it sits level with a sofa arm or a chair arm, which is the height a glass finds without your looking for it. It is the table for the gap between two armchairs when people come over, or beside the chair in the window where a 50cm table would be in the way. It also comes in a gloss cream, and there are matching coffee tables.

Is it real concrete?

Glass-reinforced concrete: concrete with glass fibres through it, which lets it be cast thin and in curves. The finish is a concrete look with real texture and pitting.

Is 30cm wide enough?

For a glass and a small plate, yes. For a lamp and a book as well, no. It is a drinks table, not a lamp table.

Will it mark?

The surface is finished and wipes clean. Red wine left to sit on a textured surface is easier to shift if you wipe it straight away.

Can it go outside?

It is an indoor piece. A covered porch is as far as we would suggest.
