Sennen Coffee Table Gold

Ragged gold leaf, a tray top, and a shelf beneath for the spare glasses.

What you're getting

• Metal frame with a hand-applied, ragged gold leaf finish
• Tray-style top and a lower shelf
• A handle: the base rises up and over the top
• 65cm top, 50cm high
• About 9.6kg; only the top goes on

The gold Sennen is a 65cm coffee table in metal, 50cm high, hand-finished in ragged gold leaf, with a tray-style top, a lower shelf and the base carrying on up and over as a handle. Gold leaf catches candlelight in a way paint doesn't, so this one comes into its own in the evening.

Is it real gold leaf?

It's a hand-applied, ragged gold leaf finish on metal. Ragged means the leaf is deliberately broken, so the colour beneath shows through in places.

Will every one look the same?

Because it's applied by hand, the pattern varies from table to table.

Can I wipe it with a damp cloth?

Better not: a soft, dry cloth only; gold leaf doesn't like water or polish.

Can I get a side table in the same gold?

Yes, the Sennen side table in gold leaf, 72cm high.
