Blue glass under white marble, at the height of the sofa arm.

The Seville in Blue is a round side table, 46cm across and 46cm high, with a blue glass base marked with fine linear striations, aluminium collars and a white marble top. It's the marble table on this page that sits at sofa-arm height, which is what makes it a drinks table rather than a lamp table: when people come over the glass goes down beside the arm without a reach. The blue base lights up when a lamp is behind it.

Measure first. The height of your sofa arm is the number. The Seville is 46cm; if the arm is between 44 and 50cm the top will sit level or near enough. Then the gap: the top is 46cm across, so allow 50cm clear. And give a thought to what's behind it, because the blue glass is at its best with light coming through from a lamp or a window.

What is the base?

Blue glass with fine linear striations, with aluminium collars, under a white marble top.

Is 46cm sofa-arm height?

On most sofas, yes, or very close. The marble top meets the arm and the glass goes down from the hand.

How heavy is it?

20.55kg, most of it in the marble top. It stays where it's placed.

What assembly is there?

The marble top only, set onto the glass base. One box.

Is there another colour?

Yes, the Seville in Dusk has the same marble and collars with a smoky dusk-toned glass base.

What goes with it. The Seville in Dusk, the same table in smoky glass, and the taller Bilbao tables which share the white marble top and metal stem.
