The Sloane Dining Chair in green boucle is a single upholstered chair with a curved back, a deep seat and a maple frame, one of four colours in our Sloane range. It sits at the dining table, or at the two ends of it, and it’s the kind of chair people notice before they notice the table. Our showroom is in Ballincollig, Co. How it lives in a room

Saturday night, six at the table, and the conversation keeps swapping ends. The curved back lets you turn to whoever’s beside you without shuffling the whole chair. Boucle has a looped, nubbly texture you’ll want to touch, and green does more than you’d think: against oak it looks fresh, against walnut or dark stained wood it looks deep and settled, and against a white kitchen it’s the one bit of colour that makes the room.

You don’t have to do the whole table in green. Two Sloanes at the ends and plainer chairs down the sides is a well-worn trick, and it lets a room take a stronger colour without it taking over.

Width matters here

At 64cm wide it’s broader than a standard dining chair, so allow around 65–70cm of table edge per Sloane rather than the usual 60cm. The 49cm seat height suits a table of 73–76cm. Measure your table height before you choose; it’s the figure that decides it.

Delivery

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Is it sold singly?
Yes, one chair. Order as many as your table takes.

How do I keep boucle clean?
Crumbs sit in the loops, so a soft brush or an upholstery nozzle lifts them. Blot spills; don’t rub.

Will six fit round my table?
Measure the table’s edge and divide by about 65–70cm. That tells you honestly.
